Meet Cleo

Cleo Cross is a Sunshine Coast girl who writes the kind of romance that makes you laugh on the train and cry in the bath.

Her stories live between the beachs of the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and its hinterland – salt air, fairy lights, friend groups who love each other badly and well, and the particular chaos of falling for the worst possible person at the worst possible time.

When she’s not writing, she’s on the beach with her rescue staffy, drinking something she shouldn’t on a weeknight, or listening to her friends’ catastrophic dating updates and filing them away for future characters.
